Testimonials

When done right, testimonials, case studies and PR can be powerful marketing tools that lead to potential buyer trust and increased conversion rates… this is what we refer to as “social proof.”

You read about someone that “had success” with a company, see a company logo you recognize, or read some kind words and because of this, it makes you feel comfortable & validated that this may in fact be a company that can help you.

You feel that you have decreased your risk and your mind goes to a place of comfort and positivity.

You begin to think that, “since they did it for someone else, they have to be able to do it for me!”

The process usually looks something like this.

You come to this page and see things like…

• Case studies that seem amazing

• Company logos that you may recognize

• Flashy metrics that look incredible

• Customer testimonials

• Success stories that look awesome and make you feel even better

… And other powerful pieces of “proof” that this business is good at what they do.

You feel a level of trust so you’re led to believe that you’re working with the “best”- “If they can do it for (insert brand name company here), they can sure do it for me-” and you ultimately make the decision to allocate resources and convert into a new client for that company.

You feel on top of the world, like you just solved a big piece of your problem, and excited that you will finally make it across the finish line, and in return, they have some cash in the bank and another testimonial for their page.

The cycle then continues on and on.

Honest question- do you see anything wrong with this?

Whether you do, you don’t or you are now just confused…Here is the cold hard truth.

Our testimonials, and any other company testimonials that you are taking a look at… have ZERO to do with you, or any future success or failure that you might have working with a company.

Social Proof is a powerful psychological phenomenon where people will behave similarly to the actions of others in an attempt to reflect correct behavior for a given situation.

This is what you’re supposed to do….right?!

Basically, companies depend on you getting a false sense of security for their benefit.

They make you feel that you have decreased your risk, but that has certainly NOT actually happened and if anything, your risk may actually go way way up.

As industry insiders we deal in this psychological phenomenon every single day…

Here’s the deal about testimonials…they are a marketing strategy.

Nothing more, nothing less.

Some really know how to make this page convert- dozens of “verified” 5-star reviews from people with official sounding names & titles, big brand logos, executive & celebrity endorsements, and flashy video testimonials.

We’ve all seen this everyday on almost every company page that we visit or come in contact with.

Some epically fail- providing a bunch of “5-star reviews” filled with platitudes and generic terms such as “best” and “creative” from “Adam G” and “Mary S” that literally say nothing about anything.

Or maybe they fill the page with the same from small to medium size businesses in hopes that they feel more relatable, but again, they say nothing about anything.

Done correctly, you feel like you found the “success stories” and the only thing left to do is to negotiate your way in without looking like you’re desperate.

The truth is we know how to make a testimonial page that converts.

We fully understand the psychology behind it and how exactly to play on your emotional vulnerability for our own benefit.

We know exactly how to make you feel comfortable and secure because, “someone like you did something similar with a lot of success.”

We know how to do all of this stuff.

BUT- as we say… we do things differently around here.

Not for the sake of it but with intention and purpose.

Let’s face it, there is no denying self-interest is a part of business.

However, the way we roll is with the concept of “Enlightened Self-Interest.”

We help others to help ourselves.

Our success is completely dependent on not only helping you get what you want… but on helping business owners so that we can fulfill our mission & add to our legacy.

That means, we’re not looking for just any old entrepreneur that we can “trick” into becoming a client.

We’re looking for forward-thinking business owners with a legacy worth growing and preserving.

Who is ready right now to expand their legacy into digital form so we can go all-in together and unleash our gallery-of-experts and strategic planning system so you crush all of your goals.

We get it.

You want to make sure that if we say we can do something for you that we can actually do it.

And when you pay us, that we’re not running off with your money without delivering a huge outcome.

Cool.

Got it.

We’re consumers as well.

We know all about the buying process including the natural phase of remorse that often follows.

Do not worry.

By the time we are finished on our first call together, you will know on a much deeper level if we’re the right team for you, or not.

No game of mental gymnastics required to make this very important decision.

In fact, to ease you for the remainder of our time, just know that we’re so committed to our work together being about your results, that our consulting structure is 100% month-to-month with no contracts… so that either of us can opt out at any given time without losing anything.

It’s the ultimate level of accountability.

But- right now, you’re at the point where the only thing that matters is finding the right team to help you get absolute clarity on how to preserve & build on your company’s future for years to come through successful digital marketing.

If you’re at the point where this makes no sense, and you’re still convinced that reviewing testimonials from our past clients about their OWN UNIQUE vision, goals and challenges is still what you need right now, all good.

This page did exactly what it was intended to do – save us both a lot of time & energy.

We wish you all the best and hope you find the right testimonials that make you feel warm and fuzzy.

But, if you’re reading this and you have that feeling in your gut saying, “hey this does feel right, and comparing my future potential success to others at this point makes no sense”… we have a strong feeling you’ll like the way we work.
